Soft dumplings with a savory potato filling, finished with sweet fried onion and a dollop of sour cream: uncomplicated and deeply satisfying.

Ingredients
- Flour – 350 g
- Egg – 1
- Water – 150 ml
- Salt – 1 tsp
- Potatoes – 600 g
- Onion – 2
- Butter – 40 g
- Black pepper – 1/2 tsp
- Sour cream – to serve
Method
Make a dough with flour, egg, water and salt and rest it for 20 minutes.
Boil the potatoes, mash them and mix with one fried onion, butter and pepper.
Roll, fill and shape the dumplings.
Boil until tender and top with the second onion fried until golden. Serve with sour cream.
