Serves: 4 people
Preparation time: 60 min
Ingredients
- Roast beef joint – 1.2 kg
- Potatoes – 1 kg
- Carrots – 400 g
- Broccoli – 300 g
- Beef drippings or oil – 3 tbsp
- Flour – 140 g
- Eggs – 4
- Milk – 200 ml
- Beef stock – 500 ml
- Salt and pepper – to taste
Method
Roast the beef to your preferred doneness and let it rest. Roast the potatoes in hot fat until crisp and cook the vegetables. For Yorkshire puddings, make a batter with flour, eggs and milk and bake it in a very hot muffin tin with a little fat. Make gravy from the roasting juices and stock.
