Savoury turkey burgers are served with creamy cauliflower mash for a filling sugar-free dinner with fewer carbs.
Serves: 4 people

Ingredients
- ground turkey – 1 1/2 lb
- egg – 1
- almond flour – 1/4 cup
- onion, grated – 1 small
- garlic powder – 1 tsp
- salt – 1 tsp
- black pepper – 1/2 tsp
- olive oil – 2 tbsp
- cauliflower florets – 6 cups
- butter – 2 tbsp
- cream cheese – 3 tbsp
- chives, chopped – 2 tbsp
Method
1. Mix the ground turkey with the egg, almond flour, grated onion, garlic powder, half of the salt and half of the black pepper.
2. Shape the mixture into four burgers.
3. Steam or boil the cauliflower until very tender, about 12 minutes.
4. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet and cook the burgers for 5 to 6 minutes per side.
5. Blend or mash the cauliflower with the butter, cream cheese, the remaining salt and the remaining black pepper until smooth.
6. Serve the burgers over the cauliflower mash and finish with chopped chives.
