Shrimp Cocktail Spoons

Tender shrimp with a zingy cocktail sauce in small tasting spoons make a retro amuse that always disappears first.

Serves: 6 people

Preparation time: 25 min

Ingredients

  • Cooked shrimp – 200 g
  • Mayonnaise – 3 tbsp
  • Ketchup – 2 tbsp
  • Lemon juice – 1 tbsp
  • Worcestershire sauce – 1 tsp
  • Paprika – 1 pinch
  • Lettuce – 2 leaves

Method

STEP 1
Mix the mayonnaise, ketchup, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce and paprika into a smooth cocktail sauce.
STEP 2
Taste the sauce and adjust it with a little extra lemon juice if you want it fresher.
STEP 3
Cut the lettuce into very fine shreds and place a tiny amount on each spoon.
STEP 4
Mix the shrimp lightly with part of the sauce, then spoon them onto the lettuce.
STEP 5
Top each spoon with a little extra sauce and serve chilled.
