This quick pasta with minced beef, mushrooms and parmesan is built for busy evenings. It is hearty, familiar and deeply savoury, with just enough creaminess from the cheese to make the whole dish feel generous.
Serves: 4 people
Ingredients
- pasta – 400 g
- minced beef – 400 g
- mushrooms – 300 g, sliced
- onion – 1, chopped
- garlic – 2 cloves, chopped
- tomato passata – 300 ml
- parmesan – 60 g, grated
- olive oil – 1 tbsp
- butter – 1 knob
- fresh parsley – 2 tbsp, chopped
- salt – to taste
- black pepper – to taste
Method
STEP 1
Cook the pasta in salted water until al dente.
STEP 2
Heat the olive oil and butter in a frying pan and fry the onion and garlic until soft.
STEP 3
Add the minced beef and cook until browned, then add the mushrooms and fry until they lose their moisture.
STEP 4
Stir in the passata and let the sauce simmer for a few minutes.
STEP 5
Toss the pasta with the sauce, add parmesan and parsley, then season and serve.
