Mini pizzas feel festive right away because every person gets a small pizza of their own. They are playful, easy to customise and perfect for children who enjoy familiar flavours in manageable portions.
Serves: 6 people
Preparation time: 90 min
Ingredients
- Flour – 400 g
- Yeast – 7 g
- Salt – 7 g
- Milk – 245 ml
- Butter – 55 g, melted
- Tomato sauce – 150 g
- Mozzarella – 200 g
- Pepperoni or ham – 100 g
- Olive oil – 1 tbsp
Method
step 1
Make a soft dough from the flour, yeast, salt, milk and melted butter, then let it rise until airy and supple.
step 2
Divide the dough into smaller portions and roll them into mini pizza bases.
step 3
Spread each base with tomato sauce and top with mozzarella and a little pepperoni or ham.
step 4
Bake on a hot tray or pizza stone until the edges colour nicely and the cheese melts into the sauce.
step 5
Serve warm. Smaller pizzas cool a little quicker, which often makes them easier for children to eat.
