A rich celebratory pie filled with chicken, rice and mushrooms, baked until golden and sliced like a savory cake.

Ingredients
- Shortcrust or yeasted pie dough – 800 g
- Chicken thighs – 700 g
- Cooked rice – 220 g
- Mushrooms – 250 g
- Onion – 1
- Eggs – 2
- Butter – 30 g
- Dill – 1 handful
- Black pepper – 1/2 tsp
- Egg wash – 1
Method
Cook the chicken and shred it.
Sauté the onion and mushrooms and mix with the rice, dill and chopped boiled eggs.
Line a tin with dough, fill with layers of chicken and rice mixture and close with more dough.
Brush with egg wash and bake until deeply golden.
