Juicy meatballs in a glossy sweet soy sauce, a cosy family dish with a gentle Indische touch.
Serves: 4 people

Ingredients
- Minced beef and pork – 700 g
- Egg – 1
- Breadcrumbs – 3 tbsp
- Onion – 1
- Garlic cloves – 2
- Sweet soy sauce – 5 tbsp
- Stock – 250 ml
- Nutmeg – pinch
- Oil – 2 tbsp
Method
STEP 1
Mix the mince with egg, breadcrumbs, half the onion, garlic and seasoning, then shape meatballs.
STEP 2
Brown the meatballs in a pan and remove them.
STEP 3
Fry the remaining onion, add sweet soy and stock.
STEP 4
Return the meatballs and simmer until cooked through and glossy.
STEP 5
Serve with rice.
