A creamy pasta salad with ham, peas and crunchy vegetables is exactly the kind of familiar bowl people love to spoon onto their plate at a coffee table buffet.
Serves: 8 people

Ingredients
- Pasta shells – 350 g
- Cooked ham – 200 g
- Frozen peas – 150 g
- Bell pepper – 1
- Spring onions – 3
- Mayonnaise – 140 ml
- Greek yogurt – 80 ml
- Lemon juice – 1 tbsp
- Salt – to taste
- Black pepper – to taste
Method
Cook the pasta in salted water until al dente. Add the peas for the last 2 minutes of cooking, then drain everything and rinse briefly cold. Dice the ham and pepper and slice the spring onions. Mix the mayonnaise, yogurt and lemon juice into a dressing. Stir the dressing through the cooled pasta, peas, ham and vegetables. Season with salt and pepper. Chill for at least 30 minutes before serving so the flavors can come together.
