A festive board of smoked fish, shrimp, rye bread and crisp garnishes: easy to assemble and instantly evocative of northern coastal flavors.

Serves: 4 people

Preparation time: 12 min

Ingredients

  • Smoked fish – 250 g
  • Cooked shrimp – 200 g
  • Rye bread – 8 slices
  • Cucumber – 1/2
  • Radishes – 6
  • Butter – 50 g
  • Lemon – 1
  • Dill – 1 handful

Method

Slice the cucumber and radishes thinly and cut the lemon into wedges.
Butter the rye bread lightly.
Arrange the smoked fish and shrimp on a serving board with the bread and garnishes.
Scatter over dill and add lemon wedges for squeezing.
Serve immediately as a cold lunch or starter platter.
