Quick Brussels sprouts with lots of garlic, butter and Parmesan: a rich, crowd-pleasing side with crisp golden edges.
Serves: 4 people

Ingredients
- Brussels sprouts – 700 g
- Butter – 40 g
- Garlic – 5 cloves
- Lemon – 1/2
- Parmesan – 40 g
- Black pepper – to taste
- Salt – to taste
Method
Halve the Brussels sprouts and cook them in a large skillet with a splash of water until just tender.
Let the water evaporate, add butter and cook the sprouts cut-side down until browned.
Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds. Finish with lemon juice, Parmesan, salt and pepper and serve immediately.
