Ingredients
- Prepared haggis – 400 g
- Flour – 70 g
- Eggs – 2
- Breadcrumbs – 120 g
- Oil – for frying
- Whole grain mustard – 2 tbsp
- Mayonnaise – 3 tbsp
- Whisky – 1 tbsp
- Lemon juice – 1 tsp
Method
Chill the haggis until firm enough to handle, then roll into walnut-sized balls. Coat each one in flour, beaten egg and breadcrumbs. Fry until crisp and deeply golden, or bake in a hot oven with a little oil until crunchy. Stir together the mustard, mayonnaise, whisky and lemon juice and serve as a dip.
