Chicken wraps

A quick Dutch weeknight wrap with seasoned chicken, salad and sauce.

Serves: 2 people

Preparation time: 15 min

Ingredients

  • wraps – 4
  • chicken breast – 300 g
  • bell pepper – 1
  • red onion – 1
  • iceberg lettuce – 200 g
  • garlic sauce – to serve

Method

STEP 1
Cut the chicken into small strips or cubes and season it well. Slice the pepper and red onion finely so they cook quickly.
STEP 2
Heat a little oil in a pan and soften the onion and pepper for a few minutes. Add the chicken and cook until just done and lightly coloured.
STEP 3
Warm the wraps briefly so they bend without tearing.
STEP 4
Lay the wraps flat and add lettuce first. Putting the lettuce down first helps keep the hot filling from making the wrap soggy too quickly.
STEP 5
Top with the chicken mixture, add the garlic sauce, roll up tightly and serve straight away.
