Cheese, Grape and Walnut Skewers

Not every coffee table recipe needs cooking: these quick skewers add color, crunch and a refined sweet-salty balance to the spread.

Serves: 8 people

Preparation time: 30 min

Ingredients

  • Semi-hard cheese – 300 g
  • Seedless grapes – 250 g
  • Walnut halves – 120 g
  • Toothpicks or small skewers – 24

Method

Cut the cheese into neat bite-size cubes. Wash and dry the grapes. Sort the walnut halves and break any very large pieces in half. Thread one grape, one cube of cheese and one walnut piece onto each skewer. Arrange them on a platter and keep cool until serving.
