Butternut crostini with chili, feta and pomegranate

Crunchy crostini topped with sweet butternut, salty feta and chili make an elegant spicy party bite.

Serves: 6 people

Preparation time: 60 min

Ingredients

  • baguette – 1
  • roasted butternut – 1 cup, mashed lightly
  • feta – 4 oz, crumbled
  • pomegranate seeds – 1/3 cup
  • chili flakes – 1/4 tsp
  • olive oil – 2 tbsp
  • salt – to taste
  • black pepper – to taste

Method

STEP 1
Slice the baguette and brush the slices with olive oil. Toast them in the oven until crisp and golden.
STEP 2
Season the butternut with salt and black pepper and spoon it onto the crostini.
STEP 3
Top with feta, pomegranate seeds and chili flakes and serve right away.
