Belgian Pickles Sauce

A sweet-tangy chip-shop sauce with pickles relish and mustard, especially good with frikandel, hamburgers and fries.

Serves: 4 people

Preparation time: 25 min

Ingredients

  • mayonnaise – 3/4 cup
  • pickles relish – 1/3 cup
  • yellow mustard – 1 tbsp
  • apple cider vinegar – 1 tsp
  • curry powder – 1/2 tsp
  • salt – 1/8 tsp

Method

1. Stir the mayonnaise, pickles relish and mustard together in a bowl.
2. Add the vinegar, curry powder and salt and mix until smooth.
3. Taste and adjust with a little extra mustard if you prefer a sharper sauce.
4. Chill for 20 minutes and serve with fries or warm snacks.
