Baked salmon and apple blini stacks

These small baked stacks combine smoked salmon, apple and crème fraîche on blinis. Sweet, smoky and soft in a very festive way.

Serves: 4 people

Preparation time: 40 min

Ingredients

  • Blinis – 8 small
  • Smoked salmon – 300 g
  • Apple – 1
  • Crème fraîche – 2 tbsp
  • Chives – 1 tbsp
  • Tuinkers or cress – 1 small punnet
  • Salt and black pepper – to taste

Method

1. Dice the apple finely and mix with crème fraîche and chives.
2. Spoon the apple mixture onto the blinis and build little stacks.
3. Drape the smoked salmon over the top so each stack is neatly covered.
4. Warm very briefly in the oven so the salmon softens and the blinis heat through, then finish with cress and serve straight away.
