- pitted dates – 20
- bacon strips – 10
- olive oil – 1 tsp
- black pepper – 1/4 tsp
Method
1. Preheat the oven to 400°F.
2. Cut the bacon strips in half and wrap each piece around a date.
3. Place the wrapped dates on a lined baking sheet and brush lightly with olive oil.
4. Sprinkle with black pepper.
5. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes until the bacon is golden and crisp.
