Melted camembert in a crisp crust feels indulgent and makes a lovely festive starter.
What is breaded camembert?
Breaded camembert is creamy cheese inside a crisp coating. In the air fryer, the centre melts while the outside stays firm. Serve it immediately, preferably with something fresh or fruity.

Ingredients
- camembert – 1 whole
- all-purpose flour – 1/4 cup
- egg – 1, beaten
- breadcrumbs – 1/2 cup
- olive oil spray – as needed
Method
STEP 1
Coat the camembert in flour, then egg, then breadcrumbs. Repeat the egg and breadcrumb step for a thicker crust if you like.
STEP 2
Spray lightly with oil.
STEP 3
Air fry at 350°F for 6 to 8 minutes until the outside is crisp and the inside is soft and warm.
